Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring accuracy in reporting and accounting.

1. Accountant Job Responsibilities



Assist in day-to-day accounting tasks, including data entry, processing invoices, and reconciliations.

1) Data entry and record keeping.

2) Reconcile the accounts payable and receivable statements.

3) Assist in all necessary activities as assigned time to time.

4) Collaborate with senior accountants and finance managers on request.

5) Reconcile bank statements with internal records to identify discrepancies.

6) Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.

7) Produce error-free accounting.

8) Process and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness.

9) Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.

10) Coordinate with internal departments to obtain necessary approvals.

11) Schedule and execute timely payments to vendors.

12) Maintain and update accounts payable records and files.

13) Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivable data.

14) Prepare and send out invoices, reminders, and statements to clients.

15) Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and accurately posted.

16) Monitor accounts and follow up with clients on overdue accounts.

17) Assist in the development and implementation of collection strategies.

2. Accountant Educational Qualifications & Experience



Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).

Master's degree in Accounting or MBA with a focus on Finance (preferred).

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a corporate accounting.

Experience in Tally Prime, Excel and Word and PPT.

3.Technical Skills & Accountant Skills:



Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally Prime).

Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.

Knowledge of tax laws and regulations.

Understanding of internal control procedures.

Experience with auditing procedures.

4.Soft Skills:



Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Team player with the ability to work independently when required.

Ethical conduct and confidentiality.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ?400,000.00 - ?450,000.00 per year
