Cvent is looking for a Web Designer (Sr. Associate) to create intuitive site experiences across
a variety of global web properties. As a Web Designer, your day-to-day responsibilities will
include partnering with a group of powerhouse marketers, designers, and developers to
produce high-impact campaign and webpage experiences that drive engagement and
conversion results.
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of industry trends and front end web
languages. Experience with responsive and adaptive design is also a plus.
What You Will Be Doing
Support high-impact marketing tactics including custom microsites and
landing pages.
Build and launch a variety of Drupal component-based pages that align to
internal stakeholder needs.
Partner with other web team members to ensure brand and UI/UX best
practice consistency throughout all Cvent webpages.
Effectively communicate your concepts, design rationale, and research
findings across a variety of audiences (designers, marketers, etc.). Gather
feedback and data to iterate on your designs, as needed.
Enjoy working with others in our collaborative environment that balances
team-wide communication (e.g., daily stand-ups, Slack discussions, code
review), etc.
What You Will Need For This Position
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
3-4 years of front end web development experience preferably supporting
websites
Good knowledge of modern web standards and web performance
Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and responsive frameworks preferably
Bootstrap
Working knowledge of JavaScript and jQuery
Excellent English communication, both written and verbal
Experience in web marketing or digital strategy a plus
Any experience with WordPress and/or Drupal will be an added advantage
Working knowledge of web design tools like Sketch or Adobe XD a plus
Experience working with JIRA or Clarizen a plus
Education: Any Graduate
