We are looking for a
creative and detail-oriented Associate Video Editor
who understands digital-first content and platform dynamics. You will work on short-form and long-form videos across social media and ad platforms, collaborating closely with creative and marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities
Edit videos for
Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, long-form YouTube, ads, and brand content
Convert raw footage into engaging, platform-optimized videos
Add
transitions, subtitles, sound effects, basic motion graphics, and music
Collaborate with designers and content strategists to maintain brand consistency
Optimize videos for performance (retention, hooks, pacing, aspect ratios)
Manage multiple projects and deliver within tight timelines
Maintain an organized workflow and file structure
Requirements
1-3 years of experience in video editing or a similar role
Proficiency in
Adobe Premiere Pro
(After Effects is a strong plus)
Strong understanding of
storytelling, pacing, and visual rhythm
Experience editing
short-form social content
Knowledge of different video formats and platform specifications
Ability to take feedback and iterate quickly
Strong time management and communication skills
A solid
video portfolio / showreel
is mandatory
Good to Have (Not Mandatory)
Motion graphics and animation skills
Experience working with influencers, brands, or agencies
Understanding of social media trends and content hooks
Basic color grading and sound mixing knowledge
Familiarity with tools like CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro
