Job Description

Design, develop and deploy custom analytics solutions for our pharma clients; provide advisory and guidance to the data science and engineering teams.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

Practice Leadership:

- Will form part of the core team of the life sciences Applied AI and Data Sciences practice. Will be responsible for the growth of the team in 3-to-6-month horizon.

- Manage end to end delivery for applied AI and data sciences services to clients.

- Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for the Life Sciences applied AI and data sciences business; develop short terms tactical plans and long terms strategic plans for the team

- Develop specific applied AI / data sciences led solutions and managed platforms in sales, marketing, consumer and clinical analytics for pharmaceutical companies

- Augment existing Life Sciences Business / Competitive Intelligence engagements with data sciences

Client Management:

- Ability to understand the business context and unique nuances of the life sciences vertical and apply analytical concepts to provide solutions.

- Lead and strategize applied AI and data sciences roadmaps for clients and prospects.

- Conceptualize, design and deliver applied AI and data sciences PoCs and new data sciences led projects within existing clients.

- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our engagement with the client and work with them on the most relevant solutions for their specific business needs.

- Identify risks to the client achieving their stated business goals and work to resolve them within the capacity we work with them.

- Lead the teams to deliver high quality services with consistency and operational efficiency.

Business Development:

- Work with client partners and BU lead to develop and implement GTM solutions.

- Create winning proposals.

People:

- Drive continuous skill improvement of the team through internal and external training programs.

- Lead the team and drive results and performance goals as expected from the company and client.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

- Solid understanding of the life sciences domain

- Ability in designing data/ analytics solutions for life sciences customers.

- Working closely with the applied AI / data sciences delivery teams; operations management.

- Understanding business application of SAS, Python, R, SQL, advanced Excel, Tableau, Qliksense and Power BI and Machine Learning

- Ability and experience in driving applied AI/data sciences programs such as: o NLP models to uncover patient insights from unstructured medical text, predictive analytics

PREFERRED ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION:

Bachelor's degree in relevant domain; Master's degree will be an added advantage.

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:

- Strategizing and solutioning experience of 12 to 15 years, of which 8-10 years of experience has to be in the Advanced Data Analytics / Applied AI / Data Science.

- At least 6 to 8 years of experience in the life sciences domain

- Experience in designing data/ analytics solutions for the customers.
