: Associate-US Accounting



Overview



We are looking for

three highly motivated and detail-oriented

to join our Finance and Accounts team in Mohali. This role offers a unique opportunity for individuals to gain practical, real-world experience across the core areas of transactional accounting (AP/AR), general ledger management (R2R), financial planning, and compliance.

The positions are open to candidates seeking to fulfill mandatory professional training requirements or those looking to gain practical experience.

Key Responsibilities



You will be actively involved in supporting the Finance and Accounts team with day-to-day operations, including but not limited to:

Accounts Payable (AP) & Accounts Receivable (AR):

Processing vendor invoices, ensuring timely payments, managing customer billing, recording receipts, and performing vendor/customer statement reconciliations.

Record to Report (R2R):

Assisting with

bookkeeping

, processing journal entries, performing monthly ledger and bank reconciliations, and supporting the month-end/year-end closing procedures.

Financial Compliance:

Assisting in maintaining and reviewing financial documentation to ensure adherence to company policies and relevant financial regulations.

Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Assistance:

Collecting and organizing financial data for budget vs. actual reports, supporting forecasting activities, and preparing basic analysis for the management team.

Cost Management (for CMA candidates):

Aiding in

cost analysis

and preparation of cost sheets and reports.

Documentation & Administration:

Maintaining organized and accurate financial records and supporting general office administration tasks within the finance department.

Candidate Profile & Eligibility



We are seeking candidates who fit one of the following two profiles:

Profile A: CMA Trainee (ICMAI)

Currently enrolled in the

Intermediate or Final level of the CMA course from The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI)

.Seeking to complete their

mandatory practical training

requirements (minimum

12 months

commitment required)

Profile B: B.Com (or Equivalent) Student/Graduate



Currently pursuing a

B.Com

(or equivalent degree such as BBA in Finance/Accounting) and in the

final year

or an

immediate graduate

(within the last 12 months).Looking to gain significant practical experience in a corporate environment (minimum

12 months

commitment required).Required Skills & Attributes

Educational Foundation:



Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles (e.g., GAAP/Ind AS) and basic finance concepts.

Software Proficiency:

Working knowledge of

Microsoft Excel

is mandatory. Familiarity with any

ERP system (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle)

is a plus.

Analytical Skills:

Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.

Work Ethic:

High level of integrity, professionalism, and a proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
