Job Overview:

The associate engaged in reconciliation is responsible for supporting various functions, including account balance management, payment services, and addressing balance-related inquiries and analyses concerning mortgage loans. Key responsibilities encompass a comprehensive examination of customer queries regarding balance and claim to offer suitable assistance to other internal departments to ensure accurate responses to customer inquiries. Prompt completion and assessment of payment histories to ensure the adherence to all RESPA and state regulations. The processor is tasked with managing the daily operations of loans that are received in the queues. This role involves documenting all transactions, reconciling accounts, and maintaining comprehensive records of all financial activities. It is essential to ensure that all relevant systems are updated in a timely manner.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

Processing loans in accordance with the requests or tasks queued, ensuring completion within the designated timeframe. Adhere to established standard operating procedures to execute tasks with precision and achieve accuracy on the first attempt. Capture required data points pertinent to transaction processing to facilitate report generation and performance assessment. Commit to a 9-hour work schedule to consistently meet daily SLA and KPI objectives. Engage actively during training sessions to clarify any uncertainties, while providing support to colleagues and contributing to the achievement of team objectives. Compare financial records from different sources to identify discrepancies Investigate the causes of the discrepancies Take action to resolve any outstanding issues that cause discrepancies Communicate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure accuracy Develop and implement tools to streamline reconciliation processes Provide support to other departments on reconciliation-related issues Maintain accurate documentation and records of all reconciliation activities Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies
