Handling reconciliation for Treasury related activities in North America locations


North America team consists of 3 team members reporting to a manager, the team is expected to handle the Treasury accounting activities for all locations - to ensure true and accurate representation of the financials.



CA/CMA qualified or Inter qualified with 3+ years of experience in accounting roles - prior experience of working in Treasury related roles will be preferred.


Prior experience of working in systems like SAP General Ledger and Wall Street Suite will help. Exposure to tools like Alteryx, Power Automate will be an added advantage.



Treasury accounting activities will include - Reconciliation between ledger and bank statement and ensure smooth month close by accounting of unpresented cheques, negative re-class, check payments, timing items on bank charges and credit interest etc.


Smooth month close represent to ensure no negative balances in bank GL at account level, perform draft reconciliations for all active bank accounts in North America and ensure zero open items through working collaboratively with cross functional team across GBS and location.


Prepare monthly reconciliations i.e., matching of the General Ledger with Sub Ledger for Treasury related accounts in Blackline. Perform a detailed reconciliation of disbursement accounts using cheques register and bank statement at cheques level, report out for discrepancies and resolve it appropriately.


Handle/Support all Treasury related activities for the assigned locations.


Support Annual control testing and audit reviews as applicable.


Support automation of manual transactions through innovative idea and use emerging technological tools.
