The Associate Team Leader / Team Leader will oversee day-to-day operations of the Reference Data - New Issuance team supporting Fixed Income products. The role involves managing researchers, coordinating with global stakeholders, ensuring data quality, meeting SLAs, and driving operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong Fixed Income domain expertise, proven people leadership skills, and the ability to manage client requirements end-to-end while aligning team performance with FactEntry's quality and delivery standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in managing and developing a team of 10+ analysts through clear direction, SMART goals, and optimal resource allocation
Act as the primary point of contact for team members
Conduct regular coaching, training, performance reviews, and career development discussions
Monitor staffing, shift coverage, leave approvals, and team engagement
Motivate, reward, and maintain high team morale
Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of Fixed Income reference data
Track and report daily, monthly, and quarterly operational KPIs
Monitor production and quality metrics and drive continuous improvement
Maintain and update SOPs, workflows, and documentation
Support onboarding of new vendors, feeds, and data sources
Ensure timely and accurate responses to client queries
Build strong client relationships by understanding client-specific requirements
Act as an SME for Fixed Income products for both clients and internal teams
Collaborate with global, product, technology, and operations teams
Identify bottlenecks and partner with technology teams to remove roadblocks
Drive process improvements using Lean Six Sigma methodologies
Prepare tech requirements, test cases, and conduct UAT
Conduct team huddles and communicate updates, changes, and issues
Provide floor support and resolve real-time operational queries
Monitor daily production, quality, and engagement levels
Coordinate shifts and staffing based on workload
Conduct weekly check-ins with team members
Support operational and technology initiatives
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance/Business
Professional qualifications (CA, ICWA, CFA - ongoing or completed) preferred
5+ years of experience in the Fixed Income domain
Strong knowledge of Fixed Income securities
Proven people and project management experience
Experience leading teams of 10+ members preferred
Willingness to work flexible shifts and attend early/late client calls

Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and other MS Office tools
SQL, Power BI, Python (preferred)
