Bangalore Development Centre of Paymentus is responsible in developing the premier solution for households to easily organize and manage their bills and documents securely all in one place, in the cloud. We aggregate the Account & eBill information retrieved from a Service Provider for a User. We support around 18000+ Providers in our system. Our retail web application (a free service) gained surprising notice from the banking industry and we are now tailoring our bill management solution to small and medium size banks and credit unions. We are also steadily supporting various Payment solutions for these eBills to our Users.

Responsibilities:

Understand all the core AWS Services used Setting up of AWS Servers so that they are scalable and reliable Managing various private Subnets for cluster of servers Managing VPC Security Groups Strong in

Kubernetes

Clusters Experience in

CloudWatch

CloudFront

,

Cloudflare

configurations Continuous measures to reduce the AWS billing - watch traffic Understand / Own the Deployment of updates to various servers Develop & Manage

CI/CD

Pipelines

for various deployments Strong in writing shell scripts & python scripting Explore & Integrate monitoring tools that suits our requirements Plan and Implement backup strategy on AWS servers Setup of alerts to know the health of servers, services, disk usage etc.. Understand / Implement Security measures as per the company Monitor the capacity, storage planning and database performance on AWS Make suggestions / improvement to our deployment model Plan / implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery and failover procedures with in-depth knowledge of AWS Plan / implement new upgrades of IT infrastructure Manage a team of 3-4 AWS Engineers

Qualifications - Are You a Match?

You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in preferably Computer Science or Information Technology or an Electronics stream or closely related field or equivalent experience 8-10 years of experience in the AWS Services Good background in Linux / Unix administration Previous exposure to large-scale systems design Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems Hands on experience of virtualization Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols Working experience of the scripting and automation tools
