Job Description

The Associate Teacher role is a stepping stone toward becoming a Lead Teacher. With demonstrated commitment, skill, and professional development, the Associate Teacher may progress to independent classroom leadership and curriculum design responsibilities.

Assist the Lead Teacher in planning and delivering lessons aligned with curriculum standards. Provide small-group or one-on-one support to students needing additional guidance. Help prepare teaching materials, visual aids, and classroom resources. Maintain a safe, orderly, and inclusive classroom environment. Support in monitoring student behavior and reinforcing positive discipline strategies. Supervise students during transitions, breaks, and extracurricular activities. Encourage active participation, curiosity, and confidence in learning. Observe and report student progress, challenges, and achievements to the Lead Teacher. Foster social-emotional growth through empathy, encouragement, and positive reinforcement. Work closely with the Lead Teacher, Segment Heads, and parents to support student success. Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development programs. Uphold school values, policies, and standards of excellence.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (or pursuing B.Ed. / equivalent certification). Prior experience in teaching or assisting in a classroom preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Passion for working with children and supporting their holistic development.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
