Airbus is looking for a Software enthusiast join in Bangalore, India, to develop a data lake based in-house product, for Airbus Information Management (Digital).

Qualification & Experience:


Bachelor/ Master Degree , Information Technology, or relevant field with who has developed in JavaScript/TypeScript front-end implementation projects in on-prem & Cloud platform [both on enhancing existing & developing new applications]


Well versed with React, Node.js, Open source components such as MUI, GraphQL, Hasura, etc.


Experience in database design (SQL and NoSQL - preferably Graph)


Experience with GraphQL and RESTful APIs in enterprise environments, Microservices architecture & serverless approaches using AWS Lambda is desired. Cloudwatch integration & similar monitoring concepts experience is a PLUS.


Experience in deploying applications with Docker, AWS ECR, AWS ECS is a strong plus [inclusive but not limited to - AWS Services and setting up AWS Data Platform - AWS OpenSearch, DevelopmentEndPoints, AWS Glue Catalog, EMR and Jupyter/Sagemaker Notebooks, Redshift (Must have) or equivalent setup in GCP]


Experience applying functional programming/thinking is a plus


Background in Data Model Engineering - Data Warehouse or Data Lake experience is highly desirable


Proficiency in at least one language from our stack: [[ Python, TypeScript ]] (is a plus)


Strong notions of security best practices (e.g. using IAM Roles, KMS, etc.)


Working experience in Agile Scrum, SAFe and/or Kanban projects


DevOps orientation, knowledge of continuous integration frameworks and some of the following products/tools: Docker, Nexus, Artifactory, GitHub, Jenkins, VersionOne, etc. (Good to have)


AWS Developer or Solution Architect Associate certification is a plus.

Responsibilities


Support feasibility studies to extend existing legacy applications & from scratch development of new applications


Scalability Benchmarking of existing Applications (Costs/Performance)


Deploying highly available, scalable, maintainable, monitored solutions via full automation.


Drive the team from the technical point of view & collaborating with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies


Support problem solving and the operational availability of the applications on Airbus Public Cloud


Platform


Own incidents, problems, changes related to the Cloud Services.


Work in small and self-sufficient multi-disciplinary teams responsible for end to end product development


Developing, updating and use CI/CD pipeline to allow fully automated deployments of applications across all environments from Development, Q&A and Production


This role will involve some travel for business from time to time and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.


Guide and mentor other team members on solution design and implementation
