This is for an Associate System Engineer position in the Systems Engineering located at Bangalore, India ., Integration and Test (SEIT) team. As a member of this SEIT team, you will be supporting Requirement Development, Verification and Validation, Integration and System Safety Assessments of high-integrity avionics systems, you will also be working on Development Assurance aspects (ARP4754A) and Safety Assurance aspects (ARP4761) for the products. As a successful candidate in this position, you will apply your Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience to aerospace and avionics systems consisting of hardware elements, embedded software elements, standard avionics communications interfaces, and sensor systems. You will engage other Systems Engineers in a broader understanding of modeling and assist them in developing Systems Engineering work products, including: System Specifications, Logically Derived and Linked Requirements, Interface Definitions, System Diagrams, Trade Studies, and Detailed Designs. The role also involves hands-on experience on SysML model simulation to predict its performance in the real world and performing the safety and functional thread analysis. This position requires basic knowledge and skill in the selected lifecycle of Avionics Systems or sub-system. : . Avionics experience, preferably Cabin systems, Flight Management System and Flight Controls Systems. . Experience in System Architecture, Design, Requirements development, verification and validation. . Performs System analyses activities for safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, regulatory and certification. . Perform systems safety assessment, Functional Hazard assessments for Airplane systems & functions in line with ARP4761 defined process and methods. . Exposure to system architecture modeling and tools. Ability to model system states/modes, behaviors, functional threads, user and activity diagrams per SySML framework. . Understanding of Business process models, developed models using BPMN. . Knowledge of model based systems engineering (MBSE) process, develop models using either - SysML, UML, DODAF, TOGAF, UAF. . Understands system architecture including functional and logical decomposition for process flows. . Requirement decomposition, traceability mapping and management using DOORS/DNG. . Working experience in modelling tools like Cameo Enterprise Architect/Rhapsody/Rational Rose. Fair understanding of Matlab/Simulink models and tools. . Contribute in System Engineering processes, procedures, and instructions to ensure system safety in all facets of program operations. . Perform testing and validation to ensure system designs meet safety, operational and functional requirements. Qualification & Skills Required . Bachelors Engineering degree, Preferably Electronics/ Aeronautical/ Electrical / Systems Engineering with up to 5-10 years / Master\'s degree, with up to 3-7 years\' related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. . Experience in systems engineering and development process. . Experience in Model based Systems Engineering preferably MATLAB/SIMULINK/CAMEO . Familiarity with SAE ARP4761 and ARP4754A is preferred. . Basic understanding of DO 254/DO178C standards is preferred. . Good research, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills . Experience in requirements development, verification and validation . Exposure on Systems architecture, design of Avionics LRU components is preferred. . Basic understanding of Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) architecture is preferred. . An understanding of systems safety hazards analysis process to include the generation of hazards analysis . Experience in safety analysis such as FMEA, FTA and Reliability Tools is preferred. . Basic knowledge of FAA certification and airworthiness requirements is highly desired. Relocation This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
