Job Summary:
Responsible for serving as the Lead on complex and large projects . This role will work closely with Operations, Technology, Client Implementations, Relationship Management and Product to deliver and support IT solutions from change initiation through to implementation and post implementation support . The role serves as a conduit between operations and technology and is responsible for Business Analysis, Project management, technical change, brought about by strategic direction, client's changes, operational changes, industry regulations and/or operational efficiency directives. Functional expertise is required.
Major Duties:Serve as a Subject Matter Expert, establish trust within the corresponding business teams; gain enthusiasm within the teams.
Consistently demonstrates expertise in projects and system upgrades, testing for large and small projects, system changes and upgrades.
Utilize available subject matter expertise to perform functional reviews of transformational initiatives and on-going BAU change agenda.
Provides consulting to stakeholder(s) to identify and understand the issues, drivers, environment or business they support.
Work closely with regional functional managers in various processes / projects to ensure communication and smooth implementation.
Reviews existing procedures and processes and recommends where automation or improved processes can be implemented. Designs/develops new procedures when appropriate.
Prepares detailed system specifications for proposed projects processes and systems enhancements.
Sets and maintains project schedules, monitors progress toward completion of project and adjusts schedule or tasks as needed.
Seasoned multi-disciplinary expert with extensive technical and / or business knowledge and functional expertise.
Knowledge:Specialized knowledge on projects, good consultative skills and ability to work effectively with clients, vendors and IT teams.
Strong analytical skills are needed to analyze and evaluate technical information and coordinate projects. Requires strong communication, technical teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of various applications and technical business analysis techniques, usually acquired through related experience, is required to develop conceptual business models and system designs.
Strong communication and problem solving skills are required to manage systems implementation projects.
Leadership and organizational skills are required to develop periodic goals and to manage and motivate team members towards the goals set.
Experience:10-12 years related work experience within financial services and information technology preferred.
Six Sigma Certification is preferred.
Knowledge of Project Management - Agile and Scrum would be a good add on.
