About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Associate Software Engineer to join our engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate developer who wants to work on scalable

systems, REST APIs, and cloud-native applications

. You will work closely with senior engineers to build, deploy, and maintain software solutions using modern technologies

such as FastAPI, Docker, AWS (Lambda, ECS), and SQL databases.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs following best practices.

Build backend services using Python (with FastAPI framework).

Manage database connections efficiently in FastAPI for high-performance applications.

Write efficient SQL queries and integrate with relational databases

Containerize applications using

Docker and ensure smooth deployments.

Deploy and manage services on

AWS (Lambda, ECS, RDS, etc.).

Collaborate with the team to implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and other DevOps tools.
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance and scalability.
Participate in code reviews, knowledge-sharing, and team discussions

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong proficiency in Python with experience in backend development.

Understanding of FastAPI (or Flask/Django with willingness to learn FastAPI).

Good knowledge of REST API design principles & best practices.

Experience with SQL databases and ability to write complex queries.

Familiarity with Docker and container-based deployments.

Knowledge of AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, and RDS.

Understanding of version control systems, especially GitHub.
Basic knowledge of DB connection pooling and management in web applications.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
