Position Overview:
Are you passionate about ensuring flawless user experiences in mobile, web, and backend / Frontend applications? Swiggy is seeking dynamic individuals to join our engineering team as ASDETs. As an ASDET at Swiggy, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring the reliability and functionality of our platform that thousands of restaurant partners rely on for seamless operations
What will you get to do here?

• Conduct functional testing of mobile applications (Android/iOS) to ensure seamless performance.
• Perform API testing using tools like Postman to validate backend functionalities
• Develop comprehensive test plans and cases to ensure thorough test coverage.
• Utilize tools such as JIRA, Postman, and Charles Proxy for efficient testing workflows.
• Demonstrate understanding of SDLC, STLC, and software testing concepts.
• Manage defect life cycle, including severity and priority assessments.
• Attention to detail in multi-platform testing scenarios.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to execute and validate test cases based on requirements.

What qualities are we looking for?

• Solid grasp of Testing principles and methodologies.
• Fundamental understanding of HTTP and REST concepts.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming.
• Strong analytical skills with a knack for problem-solving
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with Selenium and Appium.
• Experience in Java, Selenium, or Appium is advantageous.
• Knowledge of cloud mobile testing tools like LambdaTest and BrowserStack is a plus.
