As a Level 3 Zenoss Administrator, you will be responsible for advanced configuration, optimization, and management of Zenoss monitoring solutions for our IT infrastructure. You will collaborate with Level 1 and Level 2 administrators, provide expert support, and ensure the effective monitoring of our systems.



Key Responsibilities on Zenoss:

1. Zenoss Configuration and Optimization:

Lead the design, setup, configuration, and optimization of Zenoss monitoring solutions for comprehensive IT infrastructure monitoring. Customize Zenoss settings, templates, and data collection for maximum performance and reliability.

2. Incident Detection and Response:

Configure and customize advanced alerting rules, thresholds, and incident response workflows in Zenoss. Investigate and resolve complex incidents and performance issues, ensuring timely resolution.

3. Data Analysis and Insights:

Utilize advanced data analysis techniques to derive actionable insights from Zenoss monitoring data. Create advanced reports, dashboards, and predictive analytics for resource performance optimization and incident prevention.

4. Automation and Scripting:

Develop and maintain advanced automation scripts using Zenoss APIs and other relevant technologies to enhance monitoring and incident response. Implement automation for proactive issue resolution and resource provisioning.

5. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:

Maintain comprehensive documentation of Zenoss configurations, changes, and best practices. Mentor and train junior administrators, sharing expertise, best practices, and providing advanced training.

6. Strategic Planning:

Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to align Zenoss strategies with organizational objectives. Stay updated on industry trends, IT infrastructure monitoring best practices, and Zenoss updates. Make recommendations for Zenoss enhancements.
