(1) Technology Management: Responsible for overall Backup technology management for the business, planning and executing new technology rollouts, scope expansion, and team readiness. Manage SOPs, Knowledge documents, KB articles. Implement technical methodology improvement
(2) Restoration and other: Resolve complex or escalated issues from L2 engineer, prepare RCA for major incidents and problem tickets, manage DB Server changes, upgrades, performance tuning, patching
(3) Triage: In the event of an unresolved incident taking longer, the L3 engineer is to coordinate with Data Center TDU COE to get help and resolve . will also engage and work with respective TAC teams to resolve product-related issues and software bugs
(4)Process Compliance:
Prepare and represent RFC in change advisory board for approval of changes, assign approved changes to L2 group to implement
Conduct repeat incident analysis to identify proactive problem tickets and work on the permanent fix
Gather information from vendor, customer, analysis from the troubleshooting/investigation, resolution steps implemented, update the tickets regularly
Prepare Shift Handover Report
Followthrough and execute the various Escalation Matrix Vendor, Internal, Customer defined
Ensure tickets closure post user/customer communication
Maintain inventory of Network equipment and links
Constantly track tickets for SLA adherence and escalate deviations as defined in the process
