ARAI, Pune is a premier Automotive Research Institute, with the Ministry of Heavy Industries, involved in R&D, Homologation, Testing & Certification, Calibration & Skill Development services to Automotive and Allied industries globally.


We are looking for the following position for our

Emission Certification Laboratory (ECL):

Designation: Associate Skilled (On Road emission testing) (01 - ARAI Regular)

Location: HTC-Chakan

Work Experience: 3- 4 Years

Candidates should be I.T.I. Passed with "Transport HCV valid driving license and Bus Badge Number" with relevant experience of driving vehicles for on-road emission measurement for 3 to 4 years.


Candidates should possess necessary skill sets mentioned in below job description.

:

Test set up preparation on passenger / heavy duty vehicles with PEMS equipment.
PEMS Equipment calibration activity such as doing Pre-test, Main test & Post-test during on-road emission test.
Conducting on road PEMS / RDE (Real drive emission) test for various vehicles, as per Automotive BS-VI norms.
Driving Heavy Commercial Vehicles and 4-wheeler vehicles on roads as well as chassis dyno / HCV dyno.
Hands on experience for emission measurement equipment.
To support for overall maintenance activity of engine dyno test cells.
Very good knowledge and understanding of Quality systems i.e. ISO 9001, ISO 17025, NABL / 5S etc.
Any other related assignments / tasks as per Department's requirement.
Hands on experience of PEMS equipment set up preparation for Non-Road Vehicles such as Construction Equipment Vehicle, Tractors & Combined Harvester

Preferred Additional Qualifications:

Experience in heavy duty vehicle maintenance and upkeepment.
PC operations such as MS-Word, MS-Excel etc.
