Job Overview:

The Research Analyst will play a key role in supporting business strategy by:

Compiling company performance data to track internal trends and identify growth opportunities. Monitoring and summarizing industry news, including key updates, regulatory changes, and overall mortgage market conditions. Tracking competitor activity such as product launches, pricing models, organizational changes, or strategic initiatives. Delivering competitive intelligence in digestible formats to help inform business development and executive decision-making. While mortgage industry knowledge is preferred, Andrew is open to training the right candidate on domain-specific content

Roles & Responsibilities

Works closely with internal departments to resolve inquiry, dispute, or complaint. Generates response letters in accordance with RESPA (Real Estate Settlement and Procedures Act) /CFPB (Consumer Financial Protection Bureau). Utilizes knowledge of mortgage loan documentation and escrow; RESPA and FCRA (Fair Credit Reporting Act). Categorizes incoming correspondence and follow established assignment / escalations process. Maintain a high degree of accuracy, departmental productivity and quality team goals. Manage time efficiently and prioritize workloads to meet strict deadlines while handling multiple tasks. Processing tasks as per the process guidelines Adhering to SLAs and TATs

Required Skill Set:

Strong Excel skills to manipulate and analyze large sets of data effectively. Presentation skills to prepare and deliver findings in a clear, concise format (PowerPoint, Word reports, or oral briefings). The role is assignment-driven -- Andrew will provide clearly defined tasks and deliverables for the analyst.

Qualification & Experience:

Basic Degree completion (15 years of education) 3 years of US Mortgage Experience in servicing or Originations
