About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Securities Operations Representative who is responsible for providing operational support to the FA and money manager. Operational support includes opening and closing of accounts on the portfolio management system, reconciliation of the custody and portfolio management systems, communicating withdrawal requests with money managers. In this role, you will: Support a variety of operational tasks for simple or routine securities Identify ways to improve the overall process Perform routine duties such as processing, reconciling transaction and research inquires Regularly receive direction from supervisor and escalate issues to more experienced roles Review less complex documents Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals Interact with internal customers Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements Essential Qualifications: 0-1 years of securities/Custody/Investment banking experience Basic understanding of US Securities market Understanding of Trade life cycle Understands the basics of capital markets and various products like what is a mutual fund, bonds, what is a stock/equity, etc. Attention to detail and comprehension skills Commerce Graduate with CA/CFA/ICW/M.com /MBA preferably in Finance vertical Desired Qualification: Candidate should have basic accounting Knowledge Good problem solving and analytical skills and numerical skills Typing Skills / Good Communication (Read / Write / Speak) Desirable to have experience of interacting with US customers.
