It consists of six different lines of business, one of which is Wells Fargo Advisors group. Within WFA, this requirement is with Brokerage Operations. About the Role Wells Fargo Brokerage Ops is seeking for a candidate to perform various back office & middle office functions, which involves updating price for securities and creating and maintaining securities data in relation to products like equity, Fixed Income, Mutual Fund, Derivative products etc. This candidate will be primarily responsible for executing the production work with minimal supervision. In this role, you will: Support a variety of operational tasks for simple or routine securities price updating Identify ways to improve the overall process Perform routine duties such as processing, reconciling transaction and research inquires Regularly receive direction from supervisor and escalate issues to more experienced roles Review less complex documents Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals Interact with internal customers Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements Required Qualifications, US: 6+ months of Security Operations experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Required Qualifications, International: Experience in Securities Operations, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Essential Qualifications: 0 to 1 years of securities/Custody/Investment banking experience Basic understanding of US Securities market Understanding of Trade life cycle Understands the basics of capital markets and various products like what is a mutual fund, bonds, what is a stock/equity, etc. Attention to detail and comprehension skills Commerce Graduate with CA/CFA/ICW/M.com /MBA preferably in Finance vertical Desired Qualification: Candidate should have basic accounting Knowledge Good problem solving and analytical skills and numerical skills Typing Skills / Good Communication (Read / Write / Speak) Desirable to have experience of interacting with US customers.
