What will you be doing in this role Prepare and edit trademark records by applying indexing to the design and word elements of trademark records being created or updated. Proofread trademark data editing where necessary to ensure accuracy of data entry. Assist in the downloading of data from external sources (PTO databases and other trademark industry sources) and prepare this information for input into CompuMark databases. Deliver high quality trademark records by ensuring completeness, proper data structure, and timeliness of trademark record updates. Provide internal feedback to management on opportunities to improve data quality or processes. Assist in resolving routine data entry and system problems. Successfully completes applicable training to learn all job-relevant systems and information which may include: Trademark Fundamentals, Introduction to Products, Device and Trademark indexing training, Introduction to CompuMark applications such as IRIS, and other production systems, and other specialized database/process training. About the Team The position is for an Associate Search Analyst in the IP Operations Trademark Device Indexing team - this is a globally diverse team of Search Analysts and Team Manager located in EMEA and India locations. The team is responsible for conducting trademark research and analysis on the Internet, specialized databases, and other sources as necessary to produce quality research reports for CompuMark clients. Responsible for finding and reporting valuable, relevant information which aids in the client\'s decision-making process regarding trademark availability. Responsibilities may also include processing trademark data information to prepare for input into CompuMark\'s trademark databases that are used directly by customers as well as internal personnel for creating trademark research reports for customers. Hours of Work This is a full-time permanent position (45 working hours/week) between 12:00PM - 09:00PM (IST).
