Job Description

We are looking for an Associate Search Analyst to join our Trademark Indexing Team. The Trademark Indexing is a dynamic team, that curates Trademark content to deliver to our internal and external customers for Search and Watch services. The quality of those services relies on our team delivering first-class data.

About You \xe2\x80\x93 experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

• 6 months to 1 year experience in a business/customer-focused environment.
• High proficiency in Internet searching utilizing search engines.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook & Internet).
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or equivalent work experience required.

It would be great if you also had . . .

• Knowledge of the Intellectual Property (IP) industry, products, and services.
• Skills and experience in data entry work.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Prepare and edit trademark records by applying indexing to the design and word elements of trademark records being created or updated.
• Proofread trademark data editing where necessary to ensure accuracy of data entry.
• Assist in the downloading of data from external sources (PTO databases and other trademark industry sources) and prepare this information for input into CompuMark databases.
• Deliver high quality trademark records by ensuring completeness, proper data structure, and timeliness of trademark record updates.
• Provide internal feedback to management on opportunities to improve data quality or processes.
• Assist in resolving routine data entry and system problems and successfully completes applicable training to learn all job-relevant systems and information which may include: Trademark Fundamentals, Introduction to Products, Device and Trademark indexing training, Introduction to CompuMark applications such as IRIS, and other production systems, and other specialized database/process training.

About the Team

The team is responsible for conducting trademark research and analysis on the Internet, specialized databases, and other sources as necessary to produce quality research reports for CompuMark clients. Responsible for finding and reporting valuable, relevant information which aids in the client\xe2\x80\x99s decision-making process regarding trademark availability. Responsibilities may also include processing trademark data information to prepare for input into CompuMark\xe2\x80\x99s trademark databases that are used directly by customers as well as internal personnel for creating trademark research reports for customers.

Hours of Work

This is a full-time permanent position (45 working hours/week) between 12:00PM \xe2\x80\x93 09:00PM (IST)
