Role Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our R&D Bioassay Development team at Biocon Biologics. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, optimization, and qualification of in vitro cell-based assays-including reporter gene assays, Fc effector function assays (e.g., ADC, CDC, ADCP), receptor binding, cytokine secretion, and cytotoxicity assays. Additionally, the role involves developing and qualifying binding assays (ELISA, HTRF, AlphaLISA, SPR, BLI) and flow cytometry-based assays (analysis and sorting) to support batch release, stability testing, and comprehensive characterization of biosimilars
Key Responsibilities
Technical/functional skills :

• Development, performance and troubleshooting of cell-based assays development, qualification and sample analysis for therapeutic protein, monoclonal antibodies
• Development, performance and troubleshooting of SPR, ELISA and flow cytometry assays for monoclonal antibodies
• Preparation of technical documents
• Writing of SOP, Protocol and Reports

Key responsibilities:

• Cell based assays development, qualification and sample analysis for therapeutic proteins, monoclonal antibodies
• To take charge of the equipment/instruments in the lab and ensure their proper functioning
• To support and maintain inventory of reagents & consumables required for general lab activities
• Cell based potency Assays (proliferation, differentiation, cytotoxicity)
• Immunology assays (T cells, MDSC, PBMC)
• Flow Cytometry (sorting and analysis)
• Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA)
• Biolayer Interferometry (BLI) Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) Analysis (end point and kinetics

Educational Qualifications
Required Education Qualification: M.Tech
Required Experience: 8 - 12 years
