Principal Responsibilities
Through Innovation Banking, our international network offers comprehensive support and services to new age economy Tech clients and Global venture capital firms. From expanding overseas to managing the cash and trade flows and to providing bespoke credit solutions, the Innovation Banking team of Relationship Managers and Product Specialists provides a range of end-to-end solutions designed to help businesses reach their potential.
The jobholder will support the frontline relationship teams to manage a portfolio of IVB client relationships for HSBC - this includes both Funds and their Portfolio companies.
To participate in strategic decisions to drive the Innovation Banking business forward, with a strong focus on high value, quality customers and prospects
To drive best practice in Transaction banking, Lending and risk policies ensuring this remains in line with economic and market practices.
Cross sell products and propositions to existing portfolio of IVB clients across - GTS, Global markets, CMA and GPS.
Owning customer engagement, ensuring service excellence at all times for all aspects of any customer, prospect or professional's interaction with HSBC and to improve customer engagement.
Optimising the potential value and profitability of existing relationships by assisting in the delivery of solutions, products and services appropriate to meet customer need
Drive the team in accordance with the overall strategic directions of the Bank and ensure compliance to internal and regulatory requirements on Relationship Management, Operations, Business development and credit Risk standards.
Minimize credit and fraud loss by working closely with the Credit Risk team for credit proposal approvals/reviews credit assessments, and active management of critical relationships.
Provide Strategic impetus towards the growth of Innovation Banking Business in the Region
Role requirements / Educational Qualifications / Certification / Experience:
Ability to assess Credit risk and working experience in managing financial assessment for corporate clients.
Experience in working with Tech enabled businesses and innovation banking domain is desirable.
Driving a high performance culture across the team delivering customer and financial objectives.
Ability to work in coordination with multiple internal teams and external stakeholders
