About the Role
The Associate Relationship Manager - Personal Loan plays a pivotal role in launching and expanding the personal loan portfolio in rural markets. This position involves identifying potential borrowers, assessing their financial needs, and delivering tailored loan solutions. The role also contributes to the bank's broader financial inclusion goals by promoting other banking products and services in underserved areas.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities

• Identify business owners and entrepreneurs within the designated catchment area and assess their personal loan requirements.
• Map potential prospects in the town to evaluate business opportunities.
• Disburse personal loans based on thorough needs assessment.
• Conduct post-disbursal end-use verification as per bank guidelines.
• Achieve monthly and annual loan booking targets.
• Cross-sell relevant banking products and services to new and existing customers based on their lifestyle, risk profile, and financial needs.
• Generate leads for liability products and facilitate account openings in rural markets.

Secondary Responsibilities

• Ensure high collection efficiency through disciplined follow-ups and customer engagement.
• Prepare accurate and complete loan documentation.
• Coordinate with operations officers to ensure timely and correct data entry.
• Encourage customers to adopt digital banking platforms and services.
• Maintain strict compliance with all bank policies and regulatory requirements.

What We Are Looking For
Education

• Bachelor's degree in any of the disciplines

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in branch banking or financial services.
