: [Insert short summary of role - approximately 1 paragraph] What are we looking for The Associate Relations Lead IMESA is responsible for leading and shaping the AR strategy in India, Middle East and South Africa (and member of EU/IMESA AR Leadership team) with the objective to enable and amplify an inclusive, fair and positive workplace that safeguards the company\'s culture and principles. What will be your key responsibilities AR Leadership & Relationship management Partner and build sustainable relationships with Leadership teams, P&O VP\'s and P&O Heads, legal and other AR partners to achieve the goals aligned with the people agenda and business strategy. Consult and provoke senior stakeholders on people insights and key industry trends related to work and workplace. The role is a key member of the One P&O Head team in India. Be the pulse of the business and report on associate and organization insights with use of Data Assess employment trends and initiate progressive employment practices to support our work, workforce, and workplace Lead a proper relationship with Unions/ Associate Representative groups. Lead collective bargaining agreements (if any) within the Indian legal framework People Leadership Leadership and Line Management of 6 functional experts and ensure performance and delivery of the AR team in India, Saudi, UAE and South Africa Foster a high-performance team culture by bringing the Mars High Performance Collaboration (HPC) Framework to life within the IMESA AR team to drive team performance and engagement. Establish an environment that positions direct reports to drive and own solutions whilst developing a team of experts and talent succession with AR and broader P&O in IMESA. Work, Workforce and Workplace issue resolution Ensure associate & business advocacy. Take escalation from direct reports in complex, high risk associate relations issues to ensure consistency and provide capability building through coaching. Ensure legal counsel is engaged as appropriate and partner with legal counsel on legal matters. Review and approve separations, separation options and transition assistance. Lead and perform associate relations investigations as appropriate & ensure appropriate tracking / communication / documentation. Build capability for issue avoidance Ensure associate & business advocacy by building functional capability of line managers Provide coaching, counselling, and training to line managers and P&O partners in areas related to employment law, performance management to build performance capabilities in the Mars way Provide interpretation & consultation to ensure fair application Culture Pulse & Managing future focused areas Serve as the guardian of the Mars culture and report on the pulse of the business by associate and organization insights Analyze Associate Relations cases and ensure root cause/broader issues are proactively addressed. Identify associate relations trends to ensure development of training and tools that address broader AR opportunities. Develop and deploy simplified associate relations policies, procedures and guidelines whilst ensuring legal and regulatory compliance. Responsible for continuous improvement to evolve the efficiency of AR service delivery OD transformations and change Provide the expertise and identify the optimum methodology for the implementation of OD changes Be the local Air Traffic Control for all x-segment, x-function OD initiatives in IMESA Lead the deployment of (global) organizational changes from an associate relations perspective with minimal of noise and executed in a fair and consistent manner. Context and Scope Leadership It will be essential for the AR Lead IMESA to build and foster strategic relationships with P&O heads and leadership teams ( regional & local) establishing themselves as a credible partner on the people agenda by: Partnering with business partners and business leaders in understanding segment objectives and people needs and understanding critical OD and workforce directions Be a trusted partner for Legal, Compliance Officer, My P&O and Data Security partners Providing insights and building workforce & workplace recommendations as necessary to shape people strategies. Associate Relations Leadership As a member of the European AR Leadership Team define AR strategies that bring the global AR purpose to life and ensure delivery of AR strategy in EU/IMESA Develop, Participate, and lead global AR initiatives and Continuous Improvement Programs Team Leadership Provide direction to the IMESA team, clarity of their roles and what they are accountable for, empowering them to always act in a fair and consistent manner, using global protocols and ensure the right resource allocation within the team. Set clear performance expectations and develop reports using the Mars Signature Performance Development Process Investment in direct reports to navigate change, lead in being the pulse of the business and report on insights whilst partnering their client groups. Lead metrics & analytics to proactively report on trends as well as to evaluate team\'s effectiveness and initiate initiatives Internal Business Audits of people processes - ensure compliance with requirements of the external audit for IMESA.
