Walk-in Interview Position: Associate - Policy Engagements About Swaniti Initiative: Swaniti Initiative is a non-partisan, social enterprise that delivers development solutions to policymakers and representatives. Swaniti works with State Governments and Parliamentarians across 17 states. Swaniti works on climate and sustainability, social protection, rural livelihood & governance, and policy-making. We work through a three-pronged approach: provide research support on key government programs and initiatives, on-ground implementation insights for the delivery of public service, and technological intervention to improve service delivery. Overview of the role:




Working with legislators is a critical part of our work because we believe that development work at the constituency level can have a transformative impact. We are looking for passionate professionals who want to make a difference in grassroots communities by collaborating with Parliamentarians. The individual must be self-motivated, and a piece of exceptional knowledge of government & governance, policy information, having experience in project management are added value to this position. Nature of the position: Entry Level Engagement Type: Full-time, Minimum one year Joining date: Immediately Location: Across India
Eligibility criteria:




Required:

• Strong communication skills and a Camera-friendly person
• Knowledge and understanding of Government, Governance, and Policy
• Graduate in public policy, political science, governance, economics, management, etc

Preferred:

• Experience in working with government administration
• Self-motivated, quick learner with enthusiasm to create social impact
• Program management skills, including the ability to develop, design, and implement at the grassroots level
• Stakeholder management and planning skills
• Fresh Graduates with public policy knowledge are also welcome to apply

Details of the role:





This role will specifically consist of project implementation throughout the entire tenure of a year starting from program design to execution of it under the constituencies of Honorable MP's pan India. While the Swaniti team will be providing the requisite support to help shape this process, the Associate will have to be driven to identify programs and design them. Their ability to follow through with select programs will be key to their success. The most distinctive component of the role is that the activities of the Associate will be recorded throughout their tenure on the job. This video content will be made available to the public for their knowledge and awareness of the background of the policy-making process. The individuals being captured in the video thus need to be comfortable coming on camera.
How to participate in the interview:
All the interested candidates are encouraged to participate in the walk-in Interview that will be held on the 27th of September 2022. Few guidelines regarding the interview process

• All the participants are requested to enter the interview venue by 10:45 am
• One registration form is to be filled out before the interview
• All participants are requested to bring original transcripts of their educational qualifications and professional experience
• Participants are requested to bring a pen & paper along, a quick group activity will be there
