Product managers are home to technical experts who work together to design and build our software and product roadmap, whereas our QA team is constantly aimed at enhancing the quality of our platform delivery through test methodologies for implementations, upgrades, and migrations.

Team and Role Overview

This role oversees the Quality Assurance in Test Automation and Test Tool. This is a tremendous opportunity to strengthen business, product, & technical skills. Our group maintains the integrity & reliability of our products working closely with the functional QA team and Engineering groups.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing an automated testing strategy for Adenza products and features
• Understanding automation effort by analyzing project requirements and assisting the manager in putting together automation plans
• Understanding the functionality and designing automation tests by working closely with the functional QA team
• Working as part of an Agile development team
• Making sure the automation suite runs continuously in Jenkins and maintains relevant benchmarks
• Documenting, implementing, monitoring, and enforcing all processes for automation testing as per standards defined
• Ensuring that content and structure of all Test Automation artifacts are documented and maintained and reviewing the Test Cases Automation suite and documents on a regular basis
• Tracking automated test executions and preparing reports detailing test automation results, code coverage, required resources, performance baselines, etc.

Skills And Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of QA Automation experience
• Minimum of 4 years of experience working with Banking Software/Fintech companies
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with any of Selenium/Cucumber/Cypress-based automation frameworks
• Working knowledge of Agile software development methodology
• Experience in API and frontend testing as well as test automation frameworks
• Understanding the Banking industry and bank operation cycle
• An outstanding team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration (CI) and experience working with tools such as Jenkins, GitHub
• Experience with version management systems like SVN and Git
• Experience with mainstream defect tracking tools and test management tools like Jira and XRay
• Experience in setting up test infrastructure for continuous delivery
• Exposure to Unit, functional, and integration testing
• Experience with Git commands
• Knowledge of JAVA and JavaScript would be a plus
• Familiar with one of MySQL / Oracle / Postgres DB
