LIONBRIDGE Associate Project Manager Position Summary The Associate Project Manager in the GLT Unit works with internal and external clients to manage the timely flow of all localization project actions from initiation to delivery, ensuring that projects meet quality, turn-around time and budget expectations. Based out of Mumbai, India What You Will Do 1. Customer Management Manage client expectations. Serve as primary day-to-day contact for external clients. Provide support and input to Sales and external clients, including education about the localization process, as required. Scope estimation and expectations management 2. Production management Plan and monitor projects to meet deadline, quality and budget requirements. Collaborate with production teams to maintain appropriate client- or project-specific procedures, solutions, checklists and instructions. Responsible for managing vendor relationships to ensure they are content and any expressed concerns within your scope are quickly and productively addressed. Responsible for routine and proactive dialogue with linguists regarding KPI performance, available capacity and related constraints. Logistics management with functional teamstranslators, Maintaining project tracking and follow up with production teams as necessary Arrange and deliver client deliverables to GPM (on-site manager) Competent with technology and willing to evolve/learn new skills Strong analytical skills - able to prioritize and balance competing demands in accordance with established priority hierarchy Solution oriented - willing to push back and negotiate when needed. 3. Finance management Monitor and maintain project financials, including month end activities, revenue forecasting and billings. Ensure the accuracy of financial project data, workflows, schedules and processes to maximize efficiency and profitability. Budget creation and approval Invoicing, Forecasting, Month end activities 4. Query Management Handling customer and/or vendor queries and mitigating the requirement on same page. 5. Other tasks QBR (actively take part in internalexternal QBR\'s) Owns Gross Margins on the account Ownsattendee in customer callsescalations To Be Successful You Will Have 2+ years project management experience. Localization experience is preferred. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and related tools, esp. MS Excel and Word. Experience with XML formats would be a plus. Ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment Process and quality oriented with the ability to execute tasks to achieve high-quality results. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work well with others in a multicultural and fast-paced environment Strong collaboration within remote teams. Ability to work on complex and/or global projects. Proactivity and ability to work independently.
