Key Responsibilities:

Create and maintain product specifications using GD&T. Utilize CAD tools to ensure quality and security of models and drawings. Adhere to company, industry, national, and international standards. Process internal engineering work requests. Engage with required functional areas as needed. Participate in maintaining standards and practices to ensure quality. Conduct and participate in Drawing Quality Reviews. Communicates Effectively: Develop and deliver multi-mode communications tailored to the unique needs of different audiences. Mechanical Design Specification: Create complete specifications in the form of solid models, configured engineering bills of materials, and detailed drawings that cross-functionally communicate the information required to manufacture and inspect a product per its design intent. Mechanical Design Modelling and Analysis: Create CAD models in accordance with company' standards to represent architectural or product-level system design concepts, enabling system-level analyses such as Dimensional Variation Analysis and Finite Element Analysis. Product Configuration and Change Management: Establish a baseline of identified product artifacts for configuration management; release, track, control, and communicate changes from concept to obsolescence, maintaining the integrity of product artifact baselines. Mechanical Design of Mechanical Systems: Acquire and apply an in-depth understanding of mechanical systems to create innovative and sound design concepts meeting Cummins and customer expectations; design for requirements of all lifecycle stages, considering customer requirements in different operating environments to ensure a robust system.

Skills and Experience Required:
