Associate - Programs Communications Who are we - The organisation ShikshaLokam is a NGO catalysing education leadership in India, enabling and amplying leadership development opportunities for individuals and institutions engaged in K-12 education systems. We offer open-source technology capabilities and resources to the ecosystem players - Individuals, NGOs, and Government - to enable education leadership development at a large scale with high impact. ShikshaLokam is a manifestation of Societal Thinking, a systemic method to resolve complex societal challenges with speed, at scale, and sustainably. What would you do - Roles and responsibilities The Associate - Programs Evangeliser will be part of the Programs team at ShikshaLokam. They will create stories and messages: visual and text, to create narrative and evangelise the idea of educational leadership driving sustainable change in the system through a programmatic approach. They will lead ShikshaLokam\'s evangelising efforts by identifying and facilitating opportunities with different ecosystem partners that includes government and NGO stakeholders. They will also recognise evangelising platforms and manage stakeholders relationships effectively. The responsibilities would involve but are not limited to: Creative Evangelising: Continuously build visually impactful digital assets (photos, stories, videos, decks) and outreach plans to present program imaginations to stakeholders. Impact Communication: Collect and compile information from the team to write stories, articles, reports and blogs for digital and print channels. Speaking Opportunities: Identify evangelising opportunities as part of the programs team; secure and manage speaking opportunities with government and NGO stakeholders at external events; develop talking points and communication messages to showcase the work, programs, partnerships and impact of the organisation. Events: Contributing to ShikshaLokam evangelising events and workshops such as InvokED, Unbundle, Collab-a-thon, Cerebration etc. from a Programs lens. Support to the team: Support the team on-ground at evangelising events. What do we offer - Opportunities and work environment Range of evangelising channels to experiment with, and build your storytelling skills Entrepreneurial work environment, with a wide canvas to innovate Empathetic, inclusive culture to grow and thrive in Who are we looking for - Requirements and qualifications A bachelor\'s degree in English, marketing, communication, or journalism or proven experience in these fields 0-2 years of work experience in PR/ communication/ journalism/ advertising Excellent verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills Domain knowledge of Program design, Education and/or Education leadership is desirable Willingness to learn, research and innovate Capability to manage self and time Comfort and facility with technology Location: Bengaluru (Hybrid) Remuneration: INR 4.5 Lacs per annum, commensurate with experience.
