Nova Institute of Medical Sciences and Medical Research Centre is seeking applications for

Assistant Professor - Community Medicine

. The role requires a committed academic professional with expertise in public health, epidemiology, and community-based teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach Community Medicine to undergraduate students as per NMC guidelines Conduct field visits, surveys, community programs, and practical training Guide students in research, projects, and public health initiatives Participate in examinations, evaluations, and academic planning Contribute to research, publications, and institutional activities Assist in departmental administration and accreditation processes

Eligibility Criteria:

MD / DNB in Community Medicine / Preventive & Social Medicine (PSM)

(Mandatory) Teaching experience as per

NMC norms

Strong knowledge of public health programs and epidemiology Good communication, leadership, and mentoring skills

Experience:

As per NMC norms (Eligible freshers may apply, subject to guidelines)
