Job Description

An Associate Professor/ Professor is an senior academic position in a university, primarily focused on teaching, research, and service. Associate Professor/ Professor teaches a range of courses, conduct research, publish scholarly papers in Political Science Domain, and advise students. Assistant Professors/ Associate Professor/ Professor also participate in departmental activities and may serve on university committees.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching:

Preparing and delivering lectures, conducting exams, grading assignments, and advising students on academic matters.

Research:

Conducting original research, publishing findings in scholarly journals, and presenting research at conferences.

Service:

Participating in departmental meetings, serving on university committees, and contributing to the overall academic environment.

Mentorship:

Advising graduate and undergraduate students, mentoring teaching assistants, and providing guidance to junior faculty.

Course Development:

Developing and updating course materials, syllabi, and assignments.

Administrative Tasks:

Handling administrative duties related to teaching, research, and departmental activities.

Qualifications:

Specifically requires a Ph.D. and Master's degree in Political Science.

Minimum 8 years of Teaching Experience

Demonstrated ability to teach effectively and conduct research. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. A portfolio of published research articles may be desirable.
