Eligibility Requirements

Ph.D. in the

Education, Political Science, Law

, or a closely related discipline from a recognized university. (mandatory) Master's degree with minimum 55% marks (or equivalent grade; 5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PWD candidates)

Minimum 8 years of teaching and/or research experience

in academic/research positions

Minimum 8 research publications

in peer-reviewed journals, or authored/edited books from reputed publishers Prior Ph.D. guidance is desirable Fulfillment of Academic Performance Indicator (API) requirements
International faculty, industry professionals with research experience, and interdisciplinary researchers are encouraged to apply.

Important Note: In case of any variation between the eligibility criteria mentioned above and UGC (Minimum Qualifications for Appointment and Promotion of Teachers and Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges) Regulations, the UGC regulations shall prevail and be considered final.
