Teaching:

Delivering lectures and conducting seminars in various nursing courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Supervising and evaluating student performance in clinical settings. Developing and implementing innovative teaching strategies. Mentoring and advising students on academic and career paths.

Research:

Conducting original research in the field of nursing. Publishing research findings in reputable academic journals and at conferences. Seeking external funding opportunities to support research activities.

Service:

Participating in department and university-wide committees. Contributing to curriculum development and program evaluation. Engaging in professional development activities to stay current with best practices in nursing education. Collaborating with healthcare agencies and other stakeholders to enhance nursing education and practice. Participating in activities related to nursing accreditation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education:

A doctoral degree in nursing (PhD, DNP) or a related field is typically required.

Licensure:

Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.

Experience:

Significant clinical experience in nursing and experience in academic or healthcare leadership is usually expected.

Skills:

Excellent communication, teaching, and interpersonal skills are essential.

Knowledge:

Strong understanding of nursing education standards, accreditation requirements, and curriculum development.
