The Associate Professor in the Department of Botany will be responsible for teaching, research, and service in the field of Botany. The candidate is expected to deliver high-quality courses, conduct research, supervise students, and contribute to the development of the department and the college.

Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Botany, both theoretical and practical, and incorporate the latest advancements in the field.
• Conduct and supervise research projects in Botany, in collaboration with students, faculty members, and external partners.
• Mentor and supervise students in their academic, research, and professional development.
• Contribute to the development of the Department of Botany and participate in the college\'s academic and administrative committees.
• Engage with industry partners, develop partnerships and foster collaborations in the field of Botany.

Qualifications:

• PhD or equivalent in Botany or a related field.
• At least 5 years of teaching and research experience in Botany.
• A track record of high-quality research in the field of Botany, as evidenced by publications in top-tier journals and funding.
• A proven ability to teach and mentor students at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with the latest technologies and advancements in the field of Botany.
