About the Function :

At CleverTap, the product team is focussed on building the World\'s #1 Retention Cloud. We believe that user retention is the only way for apps to grow faster, sustainably. The Product organization collaborates with engineering to bring out new innovative features that customers love.

The team is responsible for all aspects related to the product execution cycle - pain point identification, delivery, documentation, adoption, positioning, packaging, pricing, and promotion.

The Product team consists of product managers, designers, marketers, analysts, growth specialists, etc. working together to solve some of the challenges brands face to retain their customers for life.

About the role:

At CleverTap, we built \xe2\x84\xa2, the world\'s first database built specifically for engagement and retention. It was created to overcome the limitations of ordinary martech and to bring the full power of AI/ML to marketers.

The CleverTap platform ingests 36 billion user interactions daily and sends out over 16 billion message notifications each day on behalf of its customers, and currently stores over 50 petabytes of data. We\'re building newer capabilities around machine learning, better behavioural analytics, collaboration tools, and more ways to offer hyper-personalized experiences.

As a Product Manager - Platforms, you will own overall system performance, stability, uptime, scale, and security of all backend systems that power the CleverTap platform. You\'ll help shape the roadmap for the next generation of TesseractDB\xe2\x84\xa2.

CleverTap\'s Product Managers work collaboratively in a dynamic, highly-technical environment to build the World\'s #1 Retention Cloud.

What you will do :

-Own the ideation, development and launch of new enabling products and tools that drive adoption of platforms

-Incorporate understanding of developers, data, and market analysis to devise product strategies and roadmaps

-Work closely with the engineering teams to develop understanding of the core engineering architecture and deep-dive into various engineering challenges to devise effective product solutions

-Partner with customer support teams to solve customer pain points

-Own and be accountable for scaling systems powering the CleverTap platform

-Define and analyze metrics that drive the success of products

-Display strong leadership, communication, organizational and execution skills

What are we looking for?

Must have :

-B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or IT will be preferred

-MBA/PGDM with a specialization in IT or Marketing or Strategy or Business Analytics will be an added advantage

-5+ years product management experience with 3+ years of experience building and shipping software products

-Experience working on developer-focused APIs and services

-Ability to understand complex software systems and communicate effectively with technical specialists

-Experience managing delivery of hardware/software products

-Good knowledge of at least one cloud service (AWS, GCP, Azure etc)

-Cross-functional communication and collaboration experience

-Collaborate with other product and engineering teams to drive various platform initiatives

-Functional: Effective prioritization, data driven analytics, agile methodologies

-Behavioral: Growth mindset, good communication and presentation skills

Good to have :

-Functional: understanding of Marketing tech domain
