Making decisions explicit
Turning intent into structure
Reducing ambiguity before code is written
What This PM Will Own
This is not a delivery PM role.
This is a
thinking, structuring, and decision-making role
.
You will own:
Product thinking from
vision ? system design
Converting founder intent into
clear, testable product specs
Defining
what should be built, why, and in what order
Acting as the single source of truth for:
Features
Workflows
Edge cases
Acceptance criteria
Ensuring engineering builds the
Translate business vision into:
Clear problem statements
Well-scoped features
Explicit non-goals
Write
detailed feature specs
that engineers can build without assumptions
Define:
Inputs
Outputs
States
Failure paths
Kill ambiguity early
2. Workflow & System Thinking
Own end-to-end user journeys:
Lead ingestion
Persona matching
Campaign execution
Proposal generation
CRM sync
Analytics & feedback loops
Think in
flows, not screens
Ensure every feature fits into a coherent system
3. Edge Cases & Reality Handling
Proactively identify:
Partial data scenarios
Conflicting inputs
System failures
User misbehavior
Define how the system should behave
when things go wrong
Work closely with QA to ensure edge cases are designed, not discovered in production
4. API & Data Requirements
Define API-level requirements clearly:
Required vs optional fields
Data contracts
State transitions
Align product requirements with backend realities
Prevent "we'll figure it out later" decisions
5. Acceptance Criteria & Release Readiness
Define
clear acceptance criteria
for every feature
Decide:
What is MVP
What is phase-2
What is out of scope
Enable QA and engineering to validate work objectively
Participate in go/no-go decisions for releases
6. Planning & Cross-Team Alignment
Own timeline planning with realism, not optimism
Balance:
Speed vs correctness
Experimentation vs stability

Required Profile
5+ years of experience in Product Management (SaaS / Platform preferred)
Proven ability to:
Take ambiguous ideas and turn them into clear specs
Think in systems and workflows
Strong written communication -- specs must be unambiguous
Comfort working directly with:
Founders
Engineers
QA
Ability to say
no
, clearly and early
High product judgment -- understands trade-offs deeply
Strongly Preferred (Very Relevant to Tvara)
Experience with:
Workflow-heavy products
CRM, sales tools, or automation platforms
Exposure to:
AI-assisted products
Decision systems or recommendation logic
Ability to reason about:
Data flows
System states
Failure handling
Technical fluency:
Can read APIs
Understand backend constraints
Speak engineering language (without coding)
