ROLE: SAP BTP Java Lead ROLE DESCRIPTION SAP BTP JAVA Sr Consultant is responsible for design, implement and maintain the architecture of an application on SAP BTP. They will be responsible to determine and understands the need of business stakeholders, discuss requirements and overseeing the implementation. The following are key responsibilities oversee the design and implementation process of an application Analyse, plan and develop requirements and standards in reference to scheduled projects Sync up the Sr. developers to discuss the software needs and ensures development is on track Meeting with the stakeholders to determine the business current and future needs. Help in troubleshooting system issues whenever arise and oversees the moving parts of integration Setting an appropriate schedule for the development of certain deliverables. Coordinating with clients and keep them updated about overall status of development and execution plan. Hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE 8+ plus years of overall experience in development and deployment of J2EE application Experience of SAP BTP and KYMA, cloud application programming model CAPM, CDS is must one end to end implementation on SAP BTP is must. Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies and methods. Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision making and supervising department teams Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality. Work with Architect and BA in preparing the Technical Design Responsible for quality of technical deliverables from the team Collaborating and communicating with different SME to achieve common goal. TECHNICAL EXPERTISE Sound and practical knowledge of SAP technology and SAP architecture, S4HANA Understanding of the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model CAP using JAVA and Node JS, CF, KYMA Capability and experience in driving BTP related topics developments, guidelines, etc. in a DevOps andor agile environment Experience in developing J2EE applications. Extensive experience in CDS and Odata. Development, testing, bugs resolution and support. Write well designed, efficient code Knowledge of tools like JIRA, Git Hub, Business Application Studio and KubernetesJenkins One end to end implementation on SAP BTP using Java is must. SOFT SKILLS: Excellent communication skills, verbal as well as written. Good delegation and time management skills Problem solving abilities. Positive attitude with flexibility and maturity to work in a challenging client environment. Ready to help and guide the team and keep them motivated. Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head off obstacles. Ability to drive project responsibilities in a dynamic and proactive manner.
