Job Description

Job Purpose:

To manage and maintain accurate, consistent, and complete

material master data

for tyres in oddoo, ensuring smooth operations in procurement, manufacturing, and logistics. Also responsible for

product mapping

across regions, systems, and variants for tyre SKUs and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Material Master Maintenance (Tyres)

Create, update, and manage material master records for various

tyre categories

(PCR, TBR, OTR, 2W, etc.). Maintain accurate product specifications such as:

Tyre size, tread pattern, rim size, load index, speed rating, brand, tube/tubeless status,

etc. Ensure proper classification and coding of tyres based on internal standards. Coordinate with procurement, production, sales, and factory warehouse teams to ensure data accuracy. Periodically

cleanse, validate, and standardize

material master data to avoid duplicates or obsolete entries.

Product Mapping

Map tyre SKUs across

multiple plants, brands, or countries

for accurate reporting pricing and other activities. Maintain consistency in product hierarchies (category, sub-category, application type - commercial/passenger/off-road). Support

product transitions

(e.g., updated specs, discontinued SKUs) through controlled mapping and master data alignment.

Compliance & Standards

Apply

industry standards

where applicable in product description and specs. Ensure that each tyre SKU is correctly classified for and regulatory compliance. Maintaining tyre SKU as per specific Certificates required for tyre in specific country

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with: Sales & Marketing (for correct market descriptions) R&D/Product Team (for new spec launches) Provide support for

UAT/testing

in Odoo MM during process or system upgrades.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Graduate in Engineering / Commerce / Supply Chain / IT 2-4 years experience in

material master or product data management

(preferably in tyre or automotive industry) Proficient in other ERP platforms Strong Excel and data handling skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data cleaning) Understanding of

tyre technical specifications and classification

Strong attention to detail and data accuracy

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with

tyre nomenclature

(e.g., 195/65 R15 91H) Exposure to

product lifecycle management

in tyres
