Job Overview:


The Mortgage Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting the loan processing lifecycle by initiating employment verifications, managing insurance updates, handling document tracking, and ensuring compliance with federal regulations. This role requires strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Employment Verification

: + Initiate verbal and written employment verification requests via Keystone.
+ Update tracking items to "Requested" and log comments in the Loan Origination System (LOS).
+ Contact third-party employers to confirm borrower employment details.

Insurance Management

: + Call Homeowners Insurance (HOI) companies to update the mortgagee clause.
+ Initiate and manage the "Notice of Special Flood Hazard" tracking item in LOS.
+ Ensure borrowers in federally designated flood zones acknowledge and maintain flood insurance coverage.

Document Tracking & Compliance

: + Disclose the Notice of Incomplete Application (NOIA) / 10-Day Letter to borrowers via LOS.
+ Update tracking items from "Initiated" to "Outstanding" for incomplete files.
+ Move loans to "CLOSED" status if required documents are not received within 10 business days.
+ Change tracking items and loan status to "File Closed for Incompleteness" under Exception Management.

Operational Support

: + Assist Team Leaders in clearing priority queues to meet client Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
+ Maintain 100% quality and timely completion of assigned tasks.
+ Be flexible to work overtime based on business needs.




Qualifications:Prior experience in mortgage operations or loan processing preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work in a 24x7 rotational shift environment. Proficiency in using Loan Origination Systems (LOS) and related platforms. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.


Work Environment:Rotational shifts including night and weekend coverage. Overtime may be required based on business demand. Collaborative team setting with performance-driven culture.

Qualification & Experience

Educational qualification and years of experience required in any specific domain/skill for the roleBasic Degree completion (15 years of education) Good written and oral communications skills in English * US Mortgage Experience in Op support to call the third party vendors & order services.
