Role: Associate - M&E, Mumbai

Salary: Up to 4.5 LPA
Role Overview:
The Associate - M&E will be responsible for implementing Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) activities for the project. The role involves supporting the Research and Learning (ReAL) Senior Associate and Assistant Manager in data processing, maintaining the project MIS, and preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual progress reports against project indicators. The Associate will also manage the collection and analysis of multiple datasets related to project activities to ensure data quality and informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Management & Analysis:

• Clean and manage databases for M&E surveys, periodic assessments, and related data processes.
• Oversee data entry, processing, and cross-checking to ensure high data quality.
• Conduct basic data analysis, including cross-tabulations, using Excel.
• Generate monthly data reports and support periodic reporting requirements.

Coordination & Systems Support:

• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth data flow and timely processing.
• Work closely with the IT team to manage database updates, bug fixes, and BigQuery queries.
• Maintain and update the project MIS.

Fieldwork & Organisational Support:

• Conduct field visits to verify and ensure data accuracy and quality.
• Contribute to organizational-level initiatives, events, and cross-functional work.
• Ensure adherence to the organisation's values, policies, and guidelines

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in data collection and data management.
• Willingness to travel in Mumbai and adjoining areas
• Command over English, Hindi, and Marathi.

Technical Expertise:

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MIS (Must).
• Working knowledge of SPSS/STATA.
• Ability to work independently on Business Intelligence systems.
