: Associate Manager/Manager - Compound Development

Purpose of the Job

:

Design and develop compounds to meet present and future needs of OEM/Replacement Market customer- PV

Continuous improvement of compound to meet the performance, cost, and processing requirements.

Support technology projects and test method developments.



Major Responsibilities

:

Analyse and perform benchmark analysis, patent landscaping, literature surveys.

Support the compound development activities & selection of approach meeting the compound design target.

Gather inputs about competitors and upcoming technologies for the preparation of compound roadmap.

Conduct compound improvement trials to bridge the gap in product performance requirements.

Generate & validate new ideas/ concepts for VAVE.

Prioritize the activities and conduct trials as per risk reduction strategy and ensure the process safety.

Conceptualizing and developing test methods for compound performance prediction.

Relevant Experience

:

Minimum 7 years Exposure in tyre manufacturing companies in the functions of R&D / compounding preferably PV segment.



Education Qualification(s)

:

B.Tech/M.Tech/Ph.D in Rubber Technology/Polymer/Chemical engineering with experience and background in material research and development in tyre industries
