? Driving PM activities with Molding and Stamping tools
? Driving Machine Maintenance activities
? Reduction of Manufacturing cost (including Materials, Machine and Manpower)
Getting monthly schedules from customers and ordering raw materials.
? Giving dispatch commitment plan to customers. Driving ON TIME delivery fulfillment.
? Raw material requirement planning with purchase department.
Production planning (monthly, weekly, daily schedules) as per customer schedule
? Preventive maintenance planning for Machines and Tools as per the schedule. Following up PM schedules and getting allotted machines as per dates
? Resolving production line issue and customer compliant with Quality team.
? Monthly billing plan. Billing target to be met.
? Manpower selection and planning
? Allocating machines to NPD department to conduct new tool trials and production.
QMS Compliance as per all QMS standards.
? Daily monitoring of 4M Changes.
? OEE monitoring and improvement of machines
? Training/Skill improvement of all supervisors and operators
? Driving daily Production review meeting for addressing issues in tools, Quality, Operator, machine, etc.
? Drive improvements in Quality, Cost reduction and Productivity.
Authority:
? Release of Production Plan
? Manpower planning and Overtime planning
? Prioritization of Tools planning for Machines
? Coordinate & implement Corrective & Preventive actions in case of Delivery/Quality failure to Customer.
? Sanctioning Leave to subordinates including operators.
? Sanction overtime to operators based on the production requirements.
? Interviewing new employees
Liaison with:
? Directors: One-month raw material in advance. RM planning
? Customers: On time receipt of Monthly demand/schedules
? Accounts: Supplier payment
? HR: Manpower addition and skilling
? Quality: Line Shift inspector, Incoming inspection & FI for timely clearing of RM, WIP & FG every day.
? NPD: Production handover after achieving 100% dimensions and aesthetic requirements
? Tool room: Supply of required spare parts on time (following Break and Make concept).
? Machine Maintenance: Machine to run continuously without any problem. Critical spares to be maintained. Preventive machine maintenance is to be done as per date committed.
? Stores: Logistics - parts delivery at customer end as per commitments, Raw material supplier's interaction in terms of Payments and supplies of RM and Packing material.
KPIs
Ontime delivery performance @ 100% every month. Zero-line stoppage at customer end
Zero Quality complaints.
Achieving 85% OEE at Plant level.
Zero injuries at production shop
Reduction in monthly Overtime costs
