Associate Manager - Onsite Account Management will be responsible for driving profitable growth in designated Linde customer(s), tapping business opportunities, aligning the organization internally and implementing the industry best practices.

Making an impact. What will you do?
In this role you will drive the profit growth through superior account management and contract leverage, maximize business performance of the onsite business within the portfolio, by leading the development and implementation of comprehensive customer plans, working with operations, distribution, and other relevant functions to minimize cost of production and delivery.
Further you will communicate strategic objectives of the customer plans to internal stakeholders, ensure tactical alignment and be accountable for the development of the account strategies for major customers in the region.
Additionally, you will ensure contract renewals (and new contracts) are negotiated on a timely basis, bringing in functional expertise from OPD as appropriate; for example, when significant new capital, such as a new plant, is needed
Proactively participates with OPD on business development at incumbent sites, contributes to the business development process by ensuring that the value of local customer relationships and local strategic issues are incorporated into the development of investment opportunities.
Furthermore, you will facilitate the Business Development "Teaming process" during development of opportunities at existing major customers, extend support in the Commercialization Process at new and existing major customers,
develop and manage the local customer relationship with major Onsite customer accounts in the region.
Providing interface with RBU for delivery of non-onsite products & services to major onsite accounts (e.g., packaged gases) in order to maximize 'wallet share' of customer and providing leadership for safety activities at major customer sites is a part of your responsibility.
Moreover, you are in charge for working seamlessly with marketing teams for individual customer market segments to
communicate potential markets/opportunities for onsite business in the region including cluster development
and providing feedback to marketing strategy development team from the customer perspective.
Winning in your role. Do you have what it takes?
You have a bachelor's degree in chemical/mechanical/production engineering with four to seven (4-7) years of experience in technical sales/commercial development/business management in a related industry. MBA (marketing/finance) is added advantage.
