Active participation from Conceptualization to design, selection, engineering, commissioning and technical support in the Equipment Project for mechanical engineering to ensure the long-term benefit for Port operation both in CAPEX & OPEX along with preparation of design basis, technical specification, vendor & bid evaluation, detail Engineering, design optimization ensuring high technology, high quality, safety, reliability, efficiency and availability of the Equipment.
Supporting hand for Port equipment project engineering like Container crane, Yard crane, Coal handling Equipment like Ship loader/unloader, stacker Reclaimer.
To execute the structural and mechanical design of port equipment such as RMQCs, ship unloaders, stacker reclaimers, and other heavy-duty terminal machinery. The role involves FEA-based design validation, mechanism modeling, and design optimization aligned with Adani's operational and safety standards.
Develop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using tools like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Ansys.
Create structural design packages including calculations, specifications, and fabrication drawings for port equipment. * Perform static and dynamic FEA to validate structural integrity and fatigue life of components. Simulate mechanical behavior under operational loads, wind, seismic, and collision conditions. * Review OEM submissions for compliance with technical specifications and international standards (FEM, AISC, IS, IEC).
Participate in design audits and provide feedback for optimization and maintainability.

Qualifications:
B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech with Mechanical Engineering with 3-7 years of experience
5 years of field experience in equipment engineering commissioning will be preferred.
Proven experience in FEA, fatigue analysis, and CAD tools like SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
Knowledge of Design Calculations: include Crane cycle time, wheel load, storm wind stability (IS875), Motor and brake selection, Wire rope sizing and Structural FEA and fatigue analysis
Software Proficiency in SolidWorks, ANSYS, STAAD Pro, AutoCAD, etc
