Support the Head of Operations, Legal and Associate Director, Legal to deliver the LCS function\xe2\x80\x99s key priorities, including strategy, cost, communications, MI and productivity initiatives.
Strategy
Assist in the tracking and measuring of the performance of the LCS function in delivering the strategic agenda.
Support Head of Operations, Legal and Associate Director, Legal to define and prioritise the annual risk based strategic programmes of work across the function.
Support, where required, the rapid reaction taskforces for swift issue management of projects, initiatives, or events.
Business
Support budget process and accurate forecasting, including the delivery of capacity plans as required, to deliver on budget outcomes.
Processes
Support Head of Operations, Legal and Associate Director Operations, Legal in Business Management activities, (including but not limited to, governance, documentation, and process management etc.)
Maintain standard processes e.g. for management of headcount, costs, MI generation etc, including identification and migration of best practices from other areas of the Bank.
Support in the development and maintenance of performance metrics for increased visibility and insight into the function\xe2\x80\x99s performance.
Provide support on team communications activities.
Support in the development of new processes and procedures to enhance operations and services.
People & Talent
Support Head of Operations, Legal and Associate Director Operations, Legal in people management in the areas of resourcing, talent development, performance management, learning and development and engagement and in partnership with HR.
Risk Management
Have an awareness and understanding of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework in relation to the LCS function as required, and associated policies and standards.
Governance
Have an awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.
Provide support on the QPR/MPR meetings including but not limited to the meeting calendar, materials and taking minutes and manging action log.

Our Ideal Candidate
Relevant degree in Business Administration, or other business/operations subject.
7+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a generalist business role required e.g., Business Manager, Business Support, Office Manager.
Good technology skills including Microsoft programs; Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and proficiency with Excel (v-lookup, pivot tables, charts, and formulas), (Visio, SharePoint and ServiceNow is advantageous).
Good financial/budgeting experience and/or analytical / numerical / problem-solving skills,
Good document management experience.
Good project management skills required (certification e.g., PRINCE2 or PMP or Scrum is advantageous),
Self-learning and ability to find information and apply it.
Excellent attention to detail & time management, multitasking/prioritisation capabilities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and multi-cultural awareness and sensitivity.
Exemplary integrity, ethics, independence, and resilience.
Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and confidentiality.
Knowledge of industry best practices for ways of working (certification e.g., Six Sigma or Business Analysis certificate is advantageous).
Experience in Legal or Compliance operations is advantageous.
Experience gained at Standard Chartered (or another major international bank) or one of the big four consultancies is advantageous.
