Design, recommend and implement improvements to the STBV Tax reporting processes by reviewing stakeholder feedback and through consultation with the Bank's Tax providers / Specialist
Working with tax services provider to agree eligibility lists, basis for reporting and that tax filing for eligible STBV
Business
Build relationships with respective local stakeholders and ensure awareness of RTWA & STBV issues
Attend any meetings that are organized on STBV and be able to present metrics as required including meetings with stakeholders
Processes
Manage the RTWA program end to end
Track all RTWA requests that come to the team in an efficient and effective manner
Adhere to the RTWA program guidelines and keep up with TAT
Ensure the team tracks and manages requests within TAT and adheres to the program guidelines
People and Talent
Understand and learn on the job - especially comments from stakeholders - there is tremendous scope for learning here
Co-ordination with HRSD / Payroll Team for Tax payment to the Tax authorities
Working with stakeholders on the RTWA requests and ensure to meet the TAT
Risk Management
Ensuring that KCS (Key Control Standards) are in place for the processes and adherence to all risk regulations. Flagging risk issues and taking necessary steps to mitigate issues
Adherence to SLAs / TAT and Country regulatory deadlines
Understanding finance reporting and tax requirements and proactively identifying and managing tax impact
Governance
Interact and liaise with stakeholders for approvals
Track all RTWA requests that come to the team in an efficient and effective manner
100% Compensation data to be collated from the country SPOCS on regular basis and validation
Timely escalation to CoE / stakeholders in connection with challenges faced in STBV
Ensure communications are sent to individuals who falls under Tax exposure category
Provision of accurate and complete compensation data from database to relevant stake holders to ensure compliance with tax withholding and reporting obligations. Stakeholders include tax services provider, local tax and payroll teams, and Country / SD teams
Coordination of tax Refunds and recoveries from tax authorities / employees wherever applicable
Compute taxable Income for the UK STBV tax impact individuals based on Tax approach agreed
Ensure all tax payments are made on time
