Design and implementation of complex SAP EcoSystem landscapes inclusive of high availability and disaster tolerant configurations.
SAP Basis support for multiple product set inclusive of, but not limited to PO / PI / CRM / Portal / BW / BI / Solution Manager/Java systems.
SAP upgrade experience for product management inclusive of version upgrade / patches / kernel migrations etc.
SAP Daily administration inclusive of transport processing / profile management / performance troubleshooting.
Oracle RDBMS experience from design / implementation, upgrade to support and daily management. Oracle restore, recovery and refresh are mandatory skills.
MS-SQL RDBMS experience from design / implementation, upgrade to support and daily management. MS-SQL restore and refresh are mandatory skills.
Solution Manager expertise are required in tasks like version, patch upgrade, SLD upgrade and tasks related to SLD, LMDB, Technical monitoring, EWA setup and troubleshooting are essential skills.
Good to have - SAP HANA and different relational database management system (RDBMS) a plus.
Administration of performance tuning and optimization, provisioning, data migration, virtualization, replication, etc
Key storage tools, methodologies and protocols
Remote access tools (PCAnywhere, VNC, Terminal Server, Citrix, etc) or any management console
Backup/Infrastructure/Applications
Broad knowledge in networking such as Active Directory Services, Light Weight Directory Services, Domain Name System, DHCP, etc
Cluster and high availability setup in a multi data center environment
Backup and general hardware design, setup and configuration
Ability to troubleshoot, analyse and resolve incidents and service requests including coordination with various groups
Ability to implement and execute change requests completely and accurately as aligned
Ability to provide RCAs for service improvements, error documentation, workaround and resolution plans
Additional skills/competencies as required by the account
Able to lead and co-train other Storage/Platform resources
Provides comprehensive and quality support for all technical, process-related and escalation activities
Basic Qualifications:
4-8 years of Experience in similar role.
Technically fluent in Windows and/or UNIX operating systems
Knowledgeable in backup and infrastructure design/implementation
Good organization skills to balance and prioritize work and multitask.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot systems problems
Good communication skills to communicate with support personnel, customers, and managers.
Basic skills in integrating distributed computing hardware and software systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment:
Require on-call, weekend and evening work and support.
